On May 1, 2023, Cape Game Skin embarked on an exciting new journey under the stewardship of Ettienne Myburgh, a seasoned veteran in taxidermy and the hunting business. Ettienne, with over a decade of expertise in this field, couldn't resist the call of his lifelong passion when the opportunity to lead Cape Game Skin presented itself. With the support of his friend Ewil Botes, they began transforming the old factory, infusing new life and expanding our capabilities to include comprehensive taxidermy services.

Blending Passion and Expertise Ettienne's journey to Cape Town in 2020 marked a temporary departure from his beloved craft. However, his heart remained rooted in taxidermy, and the acquisition of Cape Game Skin has been a dream come true.

The Power Duo: Carmen and Ewil Ewil Botes, alongside his wife Carmen Botes, brings a wealth of business acumen to Cape Game Skin. With extensive experience in managing and owning successful businesses both locally and internationally, Ewil's financial management expertise is a cornerstone of our new venture.
